Job description

Assistant SuperintendentThe Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:Assisting the Superintendent in managing day-to-day onsite operations for ground-up multifamily developments.Coordinating and overseeing subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.Conducting daily jobsite walks to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and overall progress.Communicating effectively with Project Management, design teams, ownership, and subcontractors to resolve field issues as they arise.Maintaining and updating daily logs, reports, and site documentation using Procore or similar project management tools.Assisting with managing inspections, punch lists, and project closeout processes.Enforcing company and project safety programs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Supporting schedule development and updates in collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Manager.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The successful Assistant Superintendent will have:3-5 years of onsite construction experience in ground-up projects.Multifamily project experience heavily preferred.Strong working knowledge of building codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Navisworks, and Bluebeam (preferred).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to solving problems in the field.What is on offer for the Assistant Superintendent:Competitive Base Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)SIGN-ON BONUS = $ days PTO + Paid HolidaysComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchA unique opportunity to join a growing regional team with the support of a financially strong, nationally recognized company.
