Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking an Assistant Vice President for its private infrastructure fund. This role involves financial management, reporting, and operations within a dynamic investment environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day fund accounting and reporting, including NAV oversight, capital activity, fee and promote calculations, and quarterly close deliverables
Lead coordination with internal and external auditors, including audit execution and SOX control oversight
Partner with cross-functional teams on the preparation and review of 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings
Monitor and manage fund liquidity across the structure, supporting investor subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and treasury operations
Prepare and review accounting policy memoranda for new transactions and evolving accounting standards
Lead and mentor junior team members; contribute to continuous process improvement and ad-hoc strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
6+ years of public and/or private accounting experience, with exposure to public companies, open-ended funds, or private markets
Strong understanding of SEC reporting and complex fund structures
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $75 - $80/hr, DOE
