Oakwood Village Resident Assistant OpportunityOakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join one of our beautiful Madison locations! Our Resident Assistants and CNA/RA's are responsible for personal care of the residents, care of the resident environment special treatments and procedures, reporting, and recording information.Benefits include:Pay starting at $19.50/HR or more for experienced CNA/RA'sPay starting at $17.00/HR or more for experienced RA'sShift differentials for PM & NOC, and weekend.Insurance and Paid Time Off offered for staff working 37.5hrs or more every two weeks.Don't have your CBRF's? We provide all staff CBRF training on site.OUR MISSIONWe are Called to serve a thriving community where seniors live with dignity, connection and purpose.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES of a Assisted Living CNA/RA or Resident Assistant (not meant to be an all inclusive list)Provides assistance to the residents as needed, with activities of daily living. This includes: bathing, dressing grooming, personal laundry, management of incontinence, housekeeping, and dining services.Provides health services to residents that meet their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs and preferences. Based on care provided in each program, physical needs may include completion of one or two person transfers, use of mechanical lifting devices, feeding, etc.Responsible for the distribution of medications and performance of prescribed treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse and according to state regulation.Responds to emergencies providing first aid treatment per training.Assists in providing and performing activities to small and large groups of residents as assigned including informing residents of activity schedule and encouraging attendance.Assists in transporting residents as needed within the Oakwood campus, and in arranging for medical appointments and transportation when needed. Monitors appointment schedule and remind residents.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS of a Assisted Living CNA/RA or Resident AssistantCompletion of state certified CNA course preferred.Completion of required CBRF and Oakwood training within time frames dictated by state regulation and Oakwood policy required.Prior experience in working with elderly in an assisted living environment is required.If under 18, waiver will need to be obtained.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
