Job Summary
Assists the Store Manager in overseeing total store operations, supervising department managers, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales and profit goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support department managers and staff across the store.
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
Monitor and achieve sales, profit, labor, and shrink goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, LP standards, and safety regulations.
Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and administrative duties.
Qualifications
Previous management experience in grocery retail required.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of grocery operations, merchandising, and compliance.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for extended periods.
Lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Work in varied temperature environments.
Varied schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Sales, profit, and labor goals achieved.
Shrink/waste reduced within targets.
Customer service and employee engagement scores.
Store safety and compliance audit results.
