Basic patient care needs will be met through both administrative and clinical duties. An MA I is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.Associate Medical Assistant:Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants orCoursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program orCoursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or equivalent education/experienceUpon hire: Washington Medical Assistant CertificationNational Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hireMedical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)Preferred Qualifications:6 months experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment6 months experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR)Associate Medical Assistant, Salary Range: Wa (Bellevue, WA) Min: $24.27, Max: $36.37Medical Associate:Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants OrCoursework/Training Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OrCoursework/Training Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces OrCoursework/Training Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administrationUpon hire: Washington Medical Assistant CertificationWithin 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications:Upon hire: National Medical Assistant CertificationMedical Assistant, Salary Range: Wa (Bellevue, WA) Min: $26.47 Max: $40.49Why Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
