Associate Attorney - Civil LitigationGrowing Northwest Arkansas law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters involving real estate, construction disputes, and business litigation while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment. Looking for someone with experience that can take on a caseload immediately!ResponsibilitiesManage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolutionRepresent clients in real estate, construction, contract, and business disputesConduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondenceTake and defend depositionsAttend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsDevelop case strategies and provide practical legal guidance to clientsCommunicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other involved partiesAssist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolutionMaintain accurate case files, deadlines, and billable-time recordsQualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in Arkansas and in good standingCivil litigation experience strongly preferredExperience involving real estate, construction, contract, or business disputes is a plusStrong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines independentlyExcellent judgment, attention to detail, and client-service skillsWillingness to take ownership of matters while working collaboratively with the firm's attorneys and staffThe firm offers a competitive compensation package that will include a base salary plus bonus/incentive pay, benefits, professional development opportunities, and the chance to build a meaningful litigation practice with increasing responsibility and direct client contact.
