Job description
Associate Attorney - Insurance Litigation
Associate Attorney - Insurance Litigation- Own Complex Coverage & Defense Work
Newtown, PA
Step into high-impact insurance litigation work
You’re an insurance litigator who can see the whole board – coverage, defense, strategy, and risk. Now you want a platform where you can actually drive the case, not just carry the bag.
Here, you’ll handle insurance defense and coverage matters from inception through resolution, with real responsibility and direct client contact.
You’ll be the one digging into the policy language, shaping strategy, drafting the key filings, and managing discovery and depositions.
If you’ve built a solid foundation in insurance litigation and are ready to run your own matters with support behind you, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Work On
You’ll step into active insurance matters and help expand a growing insurance litigation practice:
Insurance coverage matters
Policy interpretation and application
Pre-suit and active litigation strategy
Discovery and depositions
Motions practice and briefing
Mediations and negotiations
Trial preparation support
This is substantive insurance litigation work from day one – not a document review seat.
What You'll Be Doing
Handling insurance defense and coverage matters from inception through resolution
Conducting legal research and analysis on insurance and litigation issues
Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and related legal documents
Managing written discovery and depositions
Communicating directly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
Assisting with case strategy and evaluating risk and exposure
Participating in negotiations and mediations
Supporting and preparing for trial as needed
Managing multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
Maintaining a high level of client service and responsiveness
What We’re Looking For
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
At least 3 years of insurance litigation experience
Strong legal research and writing skills
Sharp analytical abilities and sound judgment
Clear, professional communication skills with clients and counsel
Proven attention to detail in pleadings and motion practice
Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
Experience handling matters independently preferred
Why This Opportunity?
You’ll join a well-established firm with a growing insurance litigation practice, stepping into meaningful work instead of waiting years for responsibility.
You’ll see cases end-to-end, sharpen both your coverage and defense skills, and build deeper client relationships.
If you’re ready to elevate your insurance litigation career with real ownership of your matters, this role gives you that runway.
Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required.
