About Us Joe Cunningham Law is a fast-growing personal injury firm in Charleston. We're a small, hard-working team, and we're looking for an early-career attorney who wants to help build something, not just fill a seat. You'll work directly with firm leadership, have a voice in firm policies, and take real ownership of clients and cases from day one.
You'll manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, working closely with our attorneys and case management team. Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from initial evaluation through settlement or litigation
Keep clients informed and help them understand their options and case status
Evaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and evidence, including medical records, bills, wage-loss documentation, photos, and police reports
Research and apply South Carolina law to case-specific issues
Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and settlement documents
Help improve our processes as the firm scales
D. from an accredited law school
~ 1–5 years of legal experience
~ Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
~ Personal injury experience
Experience with Filevine, LeadDocket, or similar systems (training provided)
Competitive salary based on experience, plus commission
Hands-on personal injury litigation experience
Training and support for early-career attorneys
