Labor & Employment Associate AttorneyLocation: San Juan Capistrano, California Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote Compensation: $145,000-$175,000+ per year, depending on experience Bar Admission: Active California Bar membership required Experience: 1+ years of California labor and employment law defense experiencePosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employers and corporate clients in a variety of labor and employment matters and will be comfortable handling cases from inception through resolution.ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse caseload involving labor and employment disputes, including class actions, PAGA defense, and FEHA claims.Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.Assist with and lead internal workplace investigations.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to corporate clients regarding employment-related risks and compliance.Develop litigation strategies and effectively advocate for clients throughout the dispute-resolution process.Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop practical and effective legal solutions.QualificationsActive membership in the California State Bar.At least 1 year of experience practicing California labor and employment law, preferably on the defense side.Experience handling corporate labor and employment matters.Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.Strong attention to detail and a client-focused approach.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary of $145,000-$175,000+, commensurate with experience.Hybrid/remote work flexibility.Opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated labor and employment matters.Collaborative professional environment with opportunities for continued career development.
