Associate Attorney - Entry Level / Junior Attorney
MC Law Firm | Wayne, New Jersey | Hybrid Eligible
MC Law Firm is hiring an entry-level or junior Associate Attorney to join our growing practice in Wayne, New Jersey.
This position may be a good fit for a newly admitted attorney, recent law graduate pending admission, judicial clerk, or attorney with early exposure to immigration, criminal defense, family law, municipal court, or litigation.
The role will involve client communication, legal research and drafting, case preparation, court and agency appearances as appropriate, and close work with senior attorneys and legal staff.
The position is based out of our Wayne office. It is not fully remote. A hybrid schedule may be available depending on the candidate’s experience, training needs, and ability to handle work independently.
Practice exposure includes:
Immigration law, removal defense, family-based and employment-based immigration matters, criminal and municipal defense coordination, family law issues, and related litigation support.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New Jersey Bar, or recent bar passage/pending admission
Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills
Ability to travel to the Wayne office and to courts/agencies as needed
Interest in immigration, criminal defense, family law, and litigation
Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, or another language commonly used by our clients is a plus
Prior clinic, clerkship, internship, or law firm experience is helpful but not required
Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on admission status, experience, language ability, and readiness for client-facing and court-facing work.
