nAre you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Audit? At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. nWhether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.
nHow you will contribute :
nnCompleting audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
nWorking with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
nHelping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
nParticipating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

n nMinimum Qualifications :
nnAssociate positions require a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
nAssociate candidates must be pursuing the education requirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state in which the office is located for this position.nnCompletion of required academic credits (150 credit hours) must be met prior to the start date listed for this role.

nAssociates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state in which your office will be located
nSolid technical accounting knowledge
nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
nMust have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
n nPreferred Qualifications :
nnPrior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
n nApplicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
