nAre you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Audit? At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career.
nWhether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.
nHow you will contribute:
nnCompleting audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
nWorking with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
nHelping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
nParticipating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
n nWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

n nMinimum Qualifications:
nnAssociate positions require a bachelor's degreennMust maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
nAchievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework
nAchievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in intermediate accounting
n
nCandidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by the start date of the role
nSolid technical accounting knowledge
nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
nMust have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnPrior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
