nJob Description:

nThe Teller II works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency while also educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions.

nDepth & Scope:

nnnExecutes TD's Brand promise to customers by consistently executing appropriate behaviors to deliver a Legendary Customer experience in the Store

nnPerforms customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently

n

nnProcesses cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy

n

nnResponds to and resolves customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary

n

nnEngages in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately

n

nnUnderstands customer preferences with banking (when and how they want) and educates customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs

n

nnActs as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations; offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring the customer to appropriate partner to provide solutions

nnTrains and acts as a mentor to new Tellers

n

nnAssists supervisors with daily duties as directed by Store leadership

n

nnEnsures compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer

n

nnVerifies customers' identities by following customer authentication policies &procedures

n

nnBalances cash drawers Automated Teller machines (ATMs) and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/ Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as necessary

n

nnAdheres to safe deposit box procedures/operations and guidelines

n

nnResponsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults including maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash at all times

n

nnAccountable for ensuring confidential customer information is securely stored throughout the day

n

nnUnderstands the importance of and follows dual control

n

nnFollows all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss

n

nnUtilizes bank tools and processes to detect, address and prevent fraud

n

nnExpected to complete all required in-classroom training and on-line training by established due dates

n nEducation & Experience:

nnnHigh school diploma or GED

nn1 year teller or cash handling experience preferred

nnDemonstrated Customer Service skills preferred
