nThe Associate Broker (Marine Cargo Broker Trainee) supports a team of senior brokers by assisting with organization, daily operations, communication with clients and insurance markets, document creation for use with clients and insurance markets, assistance with compliance, systems data entry, data analysis and other support tasks as required. It also requires that the chose candidate maintain a book of smaller accounts that they will directly broke with the insurance markets.

nThe Role
nPerformance Objectives:
nnnAssists the team to provide day-to-day servicing of larger, complex accounts and direct broking/placement service on smaller accounts, duties include but are not limited to:

nnIssuance of policies and endorsements
n
nnAssist in formulating submissions for insurance carriers
n
nnAssist with quote comparative spreadsheets
n
nnIssuance of compliance documentation
n
nnAssist and coordinate responses to RFP's
n
nnOrganize internal, prospect and client meetings
n
nnSupport invoicing of Cargo accounts
n
nnFollow up on invoicing and accounting inquiries
n
nnMaintain updated account list
n
nnReview and manage policy expiration list.
n
nnLearn and utilize WTW software and systems - ECLIPSE, RADAR
n
nnAdd/renew policy record in ECLIPSE; upload required documentation throughout placement
n
nnMaintain client and prospect lists within CRM in large market, middle market and industry focus areas
n
n nQualifications
nThe Requirements
nnnHigh school diploma required. College degree preferred
n
nn1-2 years broking experience
n
nnKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
n
nnObtain a broker's license in the first 3 months of employment, if a broker's license is not currently held.
n

nnExceptional time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

nnUnderstanding of Responsible AI principles, including data privacy, information security, transparency, risk management, and ethical AI use.

nCompensation and Benefits
nBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
nCompensation
nThe base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year.
nThis role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
