Description: GEICO is seeking an Associate Counsel to defend lawsuits filed in New Jersey courts and handle other first-party insurance defense matters. The role involves researching laws, preparing legal briefs, handling pleadings, motions, and discovery, and representing the company in trials or dispositive hearings.
Eligibility:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
Admission to the New Jersey Bar (licensed and in good standing) is required.
2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury is required.
Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
Salary/Remuneration: $118,900.00 - $186,550.00 per year
