Job description
Snow Hill Dental Associates is seeking a motivated associate dentist to join our established, high-performing practice on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Our previous full-time associate earned $300,000+ annually working four days per week, and after just one year was able to purchase their first home.
Most associates in large metro areas spend years trying to build a patient base. Here, you walk into one.
With an established patient base and a strong hygiene program, there is no need to “build a practice within a practice.” You won’t need to hustle for patients, compete for hygiene checks, or limit the dentistry you want to perform. Instead, you’ll step into a schedule with real patient demand and the support needed to grow both clinically and financially.
What This Opportunity Offers
$300k+ earning potential
Daily guarantee
4-day work week (8–5)
Two fully equipped operatories
401(k) with match
Group healthcare
Three full-time hygienists
Loyal, established patient base
Predominantly fee-for-service practice
Modern technology and supportive team
Mentorship available if desired
Realistic path to buy-in and eventual ownership for the right long-term associate
Our area offers something increasingly rare: strong income combined with a low cost of living, allowing associates to pay down student loans, save, and reach major financial milestones much earlier than peers in expensive metro areas.
Why Live Here?
Surfing, boating, and beach life minutes away
Kayaking, fishing, and incredible wildlife
Quiet natural surroundings without urban congestion
Charming coastal towns with great restaurants and breweries
And when you want a change of pace:
Washington DC – about 2.5 hours
Philadelphia – about 2.5 hours
Baltimore – about 2 hours
You get the peace and affordability of coastal living while still being within easy reach of some of the East Coast’s best cities.
About the Owner
Dr. Ben Strahl relocated to Ocean City, Maryland from Washington DC as a first-time practice owner. Burned out from the pressures of big-city dentistry, constant competition for patients, and the difficulty of finding a fair ownership opportunity, he took a chance on building something better in a place he loved — the beach.
With a background originally in economics, Dr. Strahl is not only a talented clinical dentist but also brings a strong understanding of the business side of dentistry and how to grow a thriving practice.
He is an ethics-driven, clinically focused owner with high standards and a calm, low-drama leadership style. Dr. Strahl values mentorship, clinical growth, and building long-term professional relationships.
His previous associate spent five successful years in the practice before purchasing their own office, a relationship Dr. Strahl greatly valued and hopes to build again with the right candidate.
