We’re seeking a mission-driven Associate Director of Scientific Programs to help lead and manage research initiatives focused on the intersection of science, energy, and environmental health. This is a unique opportunity for a mid-career researcher to drive impactful, data-driven solutions that influence real-world policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Support strategic research planning and guide day-to-day project execution
Conduct data analysis, literature reviews, and contribute to publications
Oversee internal quality control and maintain scientific rigor
Collaborate with external research partners and stakeholders
Assist in identifying funding opportunities and writing grant proposals
Translate complex findings for diverse audiences via digital content and presentations
Mentor junior researchers and foster a collaborative team culture
Qualifications:
Master’s degree (required) or PhD (preferred) in environmental science, climate, energy, public health, or a related field
5–7 years of applied research experience in climate, energy, or public health
Strong communication, data analysis, and project coordination skills
Experience with stakeholder engagement and science-policy integration is a plus
Competitive salary range: $90,000–$115,000
