The Position
The Associate Director, NovoCare Consumer Social & Digital Marketing is responsible for translating the NovoCare consumer strategy into high-quality social and digital marketing execution. The role leads the development, approval, activation and ongoing optimization of consumer-facing content and promotional marketing across NovoCare social and digital channels.
A major focus of the role is building a scalable and responsive content model that can support the pace of consumer marketing in a regulated environment. This includes developing tactical plans, creating and adapting promotional content, managing approval and trafficking processes, monitoring performance and continuously improving execution based on consumer response and marketing results.
Relationships
Reports to the Director, NovoCare Brand, Platform & Membership. Individual-contributor role with no direct reports; manages agency and creator partners and the NovoCare social and digital content budget.
Essential Functions
NovoCare Consumer Marketing Management: Support the development and execution of NovoCare consumer marketing objectives across social and digital channels.
Social & Digital Content Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a nimble content model informed by consumer insights, cultural and platform trends, performance data and ecosystem needs.
Tactical Planning and Activation: Lead social and digital tactical plans with Omnichannel partners.
Content Creation and Execution: Lead consumer-facing promotional, engagement and experience content across NovoCare social and digital channels.
Content Operations and Promotional Review: Establish and manage content development, approval and trafficking processes.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor, track and report marketing indicators and recommend improvements.
Test and Learn: Test creative, messaging, formats, content themes and activation approaches.
Agency and Budget Management: Manage agency partners and content budgets.
Physical Requirements
20-25 % overnight travel required and based out of our Plainsboro, NJ HQ.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience including sales, brand management/consumer marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Deep knowledge of social marketing and consumer promotion across digital platforms.
Experience with media planning.
Strong project management, collaboration, communication, strategic-thinking, and analytical skills.
Embodies leadership behaviors including authenticity, servant leadership, will, empathy, decisiveness, a growth mindset and driving focus and simplicity.
The base compensation range for this position is $152,000 to $210,000. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance. Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position’s level or other company factors.
