Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Benefits team as an Associate Electronic Data Exchange Analyst!

About the Role

As an Associate EDX Analyst, you will process ongoing feeds to find and correct data issues, including eligibility and contract rules. You will bring a basic understanding of analytical techniques and ability to escalate issues as needed after data interpretation. You’re driven to learn more about business analysis, processes and systems to help develop your skill set.

What you will do

Manage conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and the end users remain in agreement on the data exchange.

Utilize requirements and communicate them to stakeholders.

Share knowledge gained by the analyst with team members and maintain for future use.

Identify business needs, refine and clarify the definition of the needs and validate the solution meets the needs.

Prioritize and progressively elaborate stakeholder and solution requirements in order to enable the end user to implement a solution that will meet the needs of the organization and stakeholders.

Assess the proposed solution due to data limitations to determine which solution best fits the business need, identify gaps in the solution, and determine necessary workarounds or changes to the solution.

Utilize process modeling tools and techniques in order to identify and break down phases of a process in order to create an understanding of the inputs, outputs, and operations that take place during each phase of feed onboarding and maintenance.

Compensation

$22.38 - $37.32 hourly plus eligibility for Company Annual Bonus program

Who you are

High school diploma required.

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience required

Experience with group insurance file feeds preferred

Highly deadline driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Capacity to navigate multiple systems simultaneously for data research.

Contributes to a collaborative working environment and builds trust with others.

Ability to learn new software and systems

Advanced Excel skills

Strong data analysis skills

Advanced problem solving and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
