nThe Difference You Make
nThe Associate Financial Advisor is responsible for helping clients identify financial needs, understand investment objectives, and implement appropriate investment and insurance solutions consistent with regulatory and compliance standards. Working in partnership with branch leadership and senior investment professionals, the Associate Financial Advisor focuses on developing client relationships, deepening existing relationships, and delivering an exceptional client experience while achieving investment sales and revenue objectives.
nnnAttain and exceed investment sales, revenue, and client engagement goals as defined by management and the Retail Investments scorecard.
n
nnConduct client appointments through in-person, virtual, and telephone channels to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate investment and insurance solutions.
n
nnManage and grow an assigned portfolio of clients by strengthening relationships, uncovering additional opportunities, and delivering ongoing financial guidance.
n
nnMaintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, FINRA, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of investment and insurance products, including Santander's Uninsured Products Policy Statement.
n
nnCollaborate with Branch Managers, Field Advisors, and Licensed Bank Employees (LBEs) to identify opportunities, generate referrals, and support overall branch investment growth.
n
nnProvide coaching, education, and product awareness support to LBEs and branch partners to enhance referral generation and client engagement.
n
nnParticipate actively in sales meetings, training programs, coaching sessions, and development initiatives designed to enhance advisory skills and business performance.
n
nnDevelop and execute business development activities aligned with management objectives and client acquisition strategies.
n
nnBuild strong internal relationships and referral partnerships that support client acquisition and retention efforts.
n
nnMaintain accurate client records, complete operational and administrative requirements, and provide activity and sales reporting in a timely manner.
n
nnMaintain all required professional licenses, registrations, continuing education requirements, and regulatory training.
n

nnnBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent field - Required.
n
nnMaster's Degree: Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent field - Preferred.
n
nn5+ Years: Demonstrate a superior record of sales achievement while maintaining high ethical standards - Required.
n
nn1+ Years: Experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients - Required.
n
nnVery strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication.
n
nnKnowledge of financial analysis and risk evaluation.
n
nnMotivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
n
nnStrong relationship management and negotiation skills.
n
nnAbility of using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
n
nnAttention to detail, being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

nnStrong social orientation, preferring to work with others rather than alone, and being personally connected with others on the job.

nnDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

n nCertifications:
nnnNASD licenses: FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 & 65) - Required.

nnAppropriate state insurance licenses - Required.

n nIt Would Be Nice For You To Have:
nnnEstablished work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
n
nnExperience in Microsoft Office products.
n

nWhat Else You Need To Know:
nThe base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

n$61,875.00 USD
nMaximum:
n$105,000.00 USD
