Associate Housekeeping Technician - Certified Surgical CleaningMarshall, MN $29,899 - $37,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in line with healthcare standards and infection control protocols. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining hygiene and safety across various hospital areas.Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned spaces, including operating rooms and common areas.Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment thoroughly.Operate and care for cleaning tools and supplies responsibly.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of both regular and biohazardous waste.Adhere strictly to infection prevention, safety guidelines, and institutional policies.Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to fulfill department objectives.Education and Experience:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.This position operates on a first shift schedule, providing consistent hours in a supportive healthcare environment located in a regional area of the Midwest United States.
