Job description
Associate Housekeeping TechnicianThis role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control standards and hospital policies.Key responsibilities include:Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Clean and disinfect thoroughly to meet healthcare standards.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.Adhere to all infection prevention and safety protocols.Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.Education and experience requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.Work schedule: Second shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week.This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
