Job description
Associate Housekeeping TechnicianJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a healthcare setting in the Midwest region. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms and common areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized. Responsibilities include the safe handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, adhering strictly to infection prevention and safety protocols. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to support department goals.Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Experience: Previous related experience is preferred, ideally 1-2 years.Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred. Must be able to work varied hours including weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule. This is a part-time role with approximately 30 scheduled weekly hours during the first shift.
