Job description
Associate Housekeeping TechnicianThis role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control standards and safety protocols.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment following established guidelines.Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment safely and effectively.Properly handling, separating, and disposing of regular and biohazardous waste.Complying with all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Working both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.Education and experience requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.Work schedule: Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week, primarily first shift with varied hours including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
