Associate Housekeeping TechnicianGranite Falls, MN $28,089 - $39,099 a yearFull TimeJob SummaryThis role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials.Adhere to all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.This position operates on a first shift schedule within a regional healthcare facility in the Midwest.
