Job description
Job Title: Associate I Payroll
Location: Abbott Park, IL
Pay Range: $25 to $29/hr on W2
What's the Job?
Support payroll tax processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Work with state agencies on tax notices and related documentation
Collaborate with tax providers, manage power of attorneys, and third-party authorizations
Handle multi-state tax issues and filings efficiently
Participate in testing and project activities related to payroll tax processes
What's Needed?
High school diploma with 2-3 years of payroll tax experience
Solid understanding of federal, state, and FICA taxes
Experience with payroll tax filing and working with state agencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail
