Associate Medical Assistant (AMA)Watson, MN $35,099 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.Respond to patient inquiries via phone, triage appropriately, and offer reassurance and clear instructions.Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, while accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications to ensure continuity of care.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies in patient care areas, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and functional.Education and Experience:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.Work Environment:Varied shifts available within a regional healthcare setting in the United States.
