Opportunity overview:

As an Associate Member Advisor (AMA), you'll play an important role in creating exceptional Member experiences while serving as a trusted resource for everyday financial needs.

This position combines relationship building, problem solving, account servicing, transaction processing, and product education. Successful Team Members are passionate about helping others, committed to attention to detail, and dedicated to providing accurate and professional service in every interaction.

What Youll Do:

Mission and Service: Provide exceptional service aligned with Hoosier Hills Credit Unions mission and Service Promises.

Build Relationships: Forge and maintain strong connections with new and existing members, delivering outstanding service.

Manage Transactions: Execute transactions and manage account service requests efficiently and accurately.

Maintain Accounts: Perform transaction processing and account maintenance, addressing related inquiries promptly.

Transactional Excellence: Ensure precise and professional handling of transactions and interactions. Adhere to security guidelines for transactions and account maintenance. Follow protocols for supervisor overrides, safeguard cash, and assist with account and Service Center procedures. Adhere to BSA/AML regulations.

Member and Business Focus: Assist with online banking, statements, card activation, wire transfers, and general account maintenance. Act as a knowledgeable resource, support problem resolution, and always act in the best interest of the members.

Recommend Products & Services: Identify and suggest HHCU products that meet members needs, enhancing their overall experience. Provide information on additional products and services that may help members achieve their financial goals.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members. Contribute to planning, share improvement ideas, and engage in self-evaluation.

Grow and Learn: Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement to drive personal and team development.

What Were Looking For:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles required.

Experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, cash handling, retail banking, or other highly regulated service environments strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

Professionalism & Accountability

Demonstrates strong personal accountability and takes ownership of work quality.

Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling sensitive member information.

Consistently follows established procedures and policies.

Attention to Detail

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to process transactions, documentation, and account maintenance with minimal errors.

Understands the importance of complete and accurate recordkeeping in a financial services environment.

Skilled at identifying Member needs and providing appropriate recommendations.

Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.

Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems with efficiency and accuracy.

Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation in various software applications .

Work Environment:
