Job description
Associate Mental Health Specialist
Position being hired for the Expanded Learning after school program. Under the direction of the assigned administrator, the Associate Mental Health Specialist performs supervised individual and group counseling and attends weekly supervision. This role provides assessment, treatment planning, and clinical service counseling. They may also perform other related tasks that are a part of departmental operations. Work is supervised by professional staff, and individual clinical work is supervised by a licensed clinician.
Requirements / Qualifications
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Social Worker (ASW) Master's degree or higher in psychology, counseling, or a related field, and have either applied for or received an Associate number with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences by the date of hire. Bilingual candidates preferred
