Growing together.The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: 15021 W Bell Rd Surprise AZPrimary Responsibilities:Greets patients as they arrive and manage appropriate standard wait timesComplete check-in and check-out tasks to include patient demographic verification, insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documentsCollects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues receiptsManages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policiesAnswers phones and schedules appointmentsAnswer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as neededManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
