Associate PlumberBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Plumber to join our team in Hertford, NC.Open to Skillbridge applicants.Position Responsibilities:Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures (toilets, sinks, water heaters) for water, gas, and drainage systemsDiagnose plumbing issues, clear clogs, fix leaks, and maintain high-pressure steam or hot water heating systemsRead and interpret blueprints, building specifications, and layout drawings to determine pipe locationsAdhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations, including inspecting systems for safetyCommunicate with clients, provide cost estimates, and offer professional repair solutionsSpecial Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain a Class 1 (P-1) License in North Carolina within 6 monthsCustomer service experienceAbility to obtain an upgraded security clearance as neededPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures.Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skillsConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
