nC.H. Robinson is hiring an Associate Portfolio Executive to build and manage a customer portfolio while developing long‑term, trusted relationships. In this role, you will leverage AI‑powered tools to simplify quoting, planning, and scheduling-so you can focus on selling, problem‑solving, and growing revenue. You will operate with autonomy while being backed by the scale, technology, and credibility of a global supply chain leader. nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nnnBuild and grow a portfolio of customers, strengthening relationships and uncovering needs to convert opportunities into active business.
n
nnRe-engage dormant accounts and expand within existing customers to increase volume, revenue, and wallet share.
n
nnOwn day-to-day customer interactions by responding quickly to questions, managing exceptions and escalations, and resolving conflict professionally.
n
nnCoordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal partners to meet customer commitments and service expectations.
n
nnQuote and price freight, applying negotiation skills, market insight, and customer buying patterns to execute pricing strategy.
n
nnPlan, build, and execute shipments (with AI agent support) aligned to customer expectations
n
nnIdentify account growth potential and cultivate transactional relationships into more committed, repeatable partnerships supported by business development resources.
n
nnUse data, reporting, and market/customer updates to uncover service and growth opportunities and inform daily priorities.
n
nnImprove how work gets done by adopting new tools/technology, identifying automation opportunities, and helping document and follow SOPs.
n
nnOperate with urgency and a team-first mindset by supporting teammates' customers when needed and contributing in daily/weekly stand-ups.
n
n nRequired Qualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma or GED.
n
nnMinimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external
n
nnAbility to travel up to 10%
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
n
nnAttention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.
n
nnDemonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills.
n
nnProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
n

n$19.23 - $38.47
