Associate Production ManagerAs Associate Production Manager, you will drive the execution of the development of product, assisting in the communication of all product needs to the cross-functional team. You will also help drive the Concept to Customer (CTC) process for a brand or category.What You'll DoExecute production process from vendor award to in-store deliveryGuide cross-functional team as a production expertManage flex and contingency needs and replenishment with partnersObtain projections for capacity managementCommunicate development details and product confirmation with vendorsEnsure seasonal calendar deadlines and milestones are metOwn Timing and Action Calendar managementParticipate in cross-functional meetings to communicate time and action (TNA) and costDrive on-time deliveries through strong process and partnershipTrain Production Coordinator and assist with meetingsLead vendor meetings and category sessionsGuide product pre-development and cost engineeringAlign development with sourcing, materials and merchandising strategiesExecute product development to meet business needs and cost guidanceTrack and report progress to meet corporate goalsAdditional tasks may be assignedAddendum (Costing - Home & Accessories/Footwear only)Support cost execution through structured events (RFQ) and seasonal negotiationExecute cost analysis for owned brands or categories at the cost component level and or higher level of macro-economic impactExecute vendor selection and program awardDrive partnerships with the cross-functional team to execute the sourcing strategiesAssist in rolling up costing and sharing out with merchant/ design partnersWork in conjunction with sourcing and cross-functional teams to facilitate new vendor onboarding or change in fulfillment typesFacilitate cost proto meetings with designWhat Skills You HaveRequired2+ years of retail or product development experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive Office SuiteTravel may be requiredPreferredBachelor's degreeStrong aptitude for math and knowledge of retail mathExpert knowledge of product life cycle, process and supply chain
