Seasonal Packing And Shipping Team MemberPrudent Publishing Company, Inc., established in 1929 and a leading publisher of premium quality greeting cards known as The Gallery Collection®, has the following long term seasonal opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ as part of our Packing & Shipping Team.Salary: $17/hourJob Purpose: Pull and inspect stock before bringing to production for imprinting, assemble marketing mailings and various pre-packaged product assortments, and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and quality.Responsibilities:Follow established procedures for pulling, assembling, and inspecting our productContribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goalsAdhere to safety procedures while handling materialsPerform other duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications:No Experience Necessary - Paid TrainingManual dexterity, attention to detail, and good hand and eye coordination is a mustAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift or move up to 40 poundsWillingness to work overtime hours including weekends essentialShift Schedule:(June – September) Monday – Thursday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM(October – December) Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMSeasonal Employee Perks:Paid holidays and trainingComplimentary box of assorted greeting cardsPotential for year-round employmentNote to Recruiters and Placement Agencies: Prudent Publishing Company does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
