nThe Difference You Make:
nThe Associate, Sales & Service Support focuses on the execution of a best-in-class internal communication strategy to assist banking centers in meeting goals and providing the nation's best banking experience.
nnnBuilds effective relationships and trust with clients and potential clients by listening to and uncovering their needs and educating them about Santander products and services that are most appropriate for their situation.
n
nnMaintains awareness of individual sales goals and status in achieving them.
n
nnConducts sales activities to gather data and to drive business to the branch, such as: in person or phone interviews with clients or prospective clients, community involvement, etc.
n
nnPro-actively seeks information from clients and prospective clients through sales efforts to understand possible changing situations, needs and desired benefits and evaluate product or service alternatives.
n
nnLeverages leads and other lead generations on a regular basis to present new products, services, rate promotions, campaigns, etc.
n
nnStays abreast of changes to banking environment, company competition and customer's business environment.
n
nnMaintains confidentiality of customer information, organizational policies and procedures.
n
nnEffectively responds to customers requesting to update or close their accounts, determining reason for dissatisfaction and offer possible alternatives; process account maintenances in a compliant manner.
n
nnMeets or exceeds established customer service standards.
n
nnDevelops and implement internal communication strategies, plans and tactics that support the business goals and objectives.
n
nnAssesses, writes, edits, produces and manages distribution of internal communication content as needed (e.g. newsletters, articles for an internal SharePoint site, announcements).
n
nnPlans, organizes and executes events.
n
nnPerforms trend analysis and report on products and programs to ensure achievement of stated objectives and goals.
n
nnMonitors and understands Santander's market position.
n

nEducation:
nnBachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
n nQualifications:
nnn5+ Years Experience in customer service, sales related occupations. - Required.
n
nnUnderstands state and local laws necessary to understand the legal implications of certain product features in different states.
n
nnUnderstands the consequences of not following the FINRA rules.
n
nnExcellent verbal and written communications necessary in order to talk to producers/customers about product features and to help in the sales process. .
n
nnProficiency with computers and common office software.
n
nnAbility to apply independent judgment.
n
nnProficient with Microsoft Office products.
n
nnAbility to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.
n
nnHighly organized and able to work independently.
n
nnStrong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to use financial models.
n
n nCertifications:
nnOther: License/Certification/Designation: ChFC, CLU, other industry designations desirable - Preferred.
n nIt Would Be Nice For You To Have:
nnEstablished work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

nWhat Else You Need To Know:
nThe base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

n$71,250.00 USD
nMaximum:
n$120,000.00 USD
