Job description
Job Summary:
The Associate Scientist, Process Development Analytics completes analytical testing in support of development of off-the-shelf, allogeneic NK cell-based therapies. Works with Analytical and Process Development teams to transfer and conduct characterization testing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct routine in-vitro testing to support Process Development experiments and improve process/product understanding.
Analyze/interprete results, trend data, and maintain detailed records.
Provide data for technical reports, standard operating procedures, and regulatory submissions.
Manage assay transfer from internal groups to Process Development as needed.
Identify assay/process issues, investigate root cause, and drive troubleshooting to resolution.
Coordinate activities across functional teams to support process development and product characterization.
Train Process Development personnel on analytical testing procedures as needed.
Requirements:
B.S. with 8+ years or M.S. with 5+ years relevant laboratory experience.
Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, plate readers, and automated cell counters (equipment/software).
Functional assays experience is a plus.
Strong organizational, recording keeping, time management, and communication skills.
Pharma/Biotech regulated (GxP) analytical testing exposure preferred.
Experience in cell therapy, immunology, or oncology strongly preferred.
