Our client has a contract to a full-time role. This position is customer-facing and is responsible for monitoring and managing a large, complex global enterprise IT infrastructure. A remote 24/7 team will support this individual, with periodic on-call responsibilities for resolving Severity 1 issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage storage solutions to meet business needs for large enterprise customer environments.
Monitor storage infrastructure performance and plan capacity accordingly.
Administer and support SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments.
Ensure data integrity and security across storage platforms, including data backup and recovery operations.
Optimize storage systems for efficiency and performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for storage procedures and configurations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in storage engineering.
Strong expertise in SAN, NAS, and cloud storage technologies.
Experience with storage performance analysis and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with storage security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
