Associate - Support Services Housekeeping Full Time DaysJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical housekeeping and laundry duties with professionalism and care.Key Responsibilities:Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.Perform tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and supply replenishment.Conduct project cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains as assigned.Deliver supplies, pharmaceuticals, and medical records to satellite locations within the region.Manage linen processing duties including sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with quality standards.Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment, reporting any needed repairs promptly.Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations to protect patients and staff.Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.Work collaboratively with team members, offering assistance and fostering a cooperative environment.Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, reporting safety concerns and maintenance needs.Participate in emergency preparedness and follow infection control procedures diligently.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in housekeeping or related support services is advantageous.This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a positive healthcare experience by ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
