Job description
Associate Support Services TechnicianThis role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control protocols and organizational standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established guidelines.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials.Adhere to all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.Education and Experience:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.Evening shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week.This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
