Job description
Associate Support Services Technician - Certified Surgical Cleaning Tech PreferredJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings across the Midwest region. This role involves thorough cleaning and disinfection of operating rooms and common areas, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety policies. Responsibilities include proper handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, and collaborating with team members to meet department goals.Education and Experience:- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. - Prior experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous. - Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred. - Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience. This position offers a first shift schedule with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. The role is ideal for individuals who take pride in contributing to a safe and healthy environment within a supportive team atmosphere.
