Job description
Associate Support Services TechnicianJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings within the Midwest region. This role involves ensuring that operating rooms and common areas are disinfected according to strict infection control standards. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, properly handling and disposing of both regular and biohazardous waste, and adhering to all safety and infection prevention policies. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to support department goals.Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.Experience: Prior experience in a related cleaning or support services role is preferred, ideally 1-2 years.Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is highly desirable. Candidates should be committed to upholding rigorous cleanliness and safety standards in a healthcare environment.
