Job description
Associate Support Services TechnicianJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings across the Midwest region. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms and common areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized. Responsibilities include handling and disposing of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to support department goals.Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally 1-2 years.Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is highly desirable. Candidates must be committed to following strict infection control and safety policies while contributing positively to a team environment. This part-time position offers a first shift schedule with varied hours, including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
