Associate Support Services Technician - Pack RoomIhlen, MN $26,099 - $32,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities across the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical tasks with professionalism and hospitality.Key Responsibilities:Sort, dry, iron, fold, pack, and distribute clean linens according to established policies and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen areas, conduct inventories, and manage linen par levels. Fill linen orders for satellite locations and document usage through tracking systems.Inspect surgical linens for damage, mend or mark linens as needed, perform liquid barrier tests, and pack components per case specifications. Maintain quality assurance tools and systems.Keep assigned equipment clean and report any needed repairs promptly. Demonstrate proper use of chemicals, supplies, and tools.Adhere to attendance, training, uniform, and departmental meeting requirements. Follow department standards to ensure quality work and support performance evaluations.Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions, fostering a hospitable atmosphere.Report any concerns related to abuse, neglect, or harassment. Protect patient and staff privacy at all times.Collaborate effectively with team members, take initiative to complete tasks, assist peers, and communicate professionally and respectfully.Report maintenance needs for furniture, buildings, and fixtures. Participate in emergency response duties as assigned. Follow safety protocols including Material Safety Data, Infection Control, and Emergency Preparedness policies.Education and Experience:Minimum of eighth grade education required.High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous related experience is a plus.This position offers a day shift schedule with approximately 25.5 hours per week, providing an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to healthcare support services in a regional setting.
