Associate Support Services TechnicianJoin a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within a regional healthcare facility in the Midwest. This role involves performing a variety of non-clinical tasks that support patients, staff, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and hospitality.Key Responsibilities:Perform floor care including top scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing floors to a high gloss using specialized equipment.Conduct detailed cleaning of edges, baseboards, doors, and transition strips.Manage supply inventories and place orders for cleaning and maintenance materials.Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.Assist with window washing, carpet cleaning, furniture and equipment movement, and light fixture maintenance.Maintain and clean assigned equipment, reporting any needed repairs promptly.Adhere to department standards and support team goals through cooperation and effective communication.Uphold guest relations by demonstrating courtesy, compassion, and respect.Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including reporting any concerns related to abuse or safety.Protect confidentiality and privacy of all patients and staff.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a related support services or maintenance role is advantageous. This position operates during the evening shift from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am, providing a vital service to the healthcare environment in the Midwest region.
