Associate Underwriter With The Wrap-Up TeamWCF Insurance is an "A" rated, innovative property and casualty carrier with more than a century of experience serving businesses across the Western United States. As we continue to grow, we are looking for individuals who share these values and want to contribute to delivering an excellent insurance experience.The Large Commercial Specialty Department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as an Associate Underwriter with the Wrap-Up Team. This posting is open to external and internal candidates. This full-time, exempt position is based at WCF Insurance's Sandy Headquarters.Responsibilities include quoting new business, issuing policies, issuing endorsements, handling renewals, working with the audit department, putting together and sending out company reports, servicing accounts, assisting underwriter with requests, and any tasks that may be required.Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field preferred. Prior underwriting experience, preferably in commercial Property & Casualty insurance. Experience supporting or underwriting construction-related accounts. Experience with wrap-up insurance programs preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills Strong organization skills and work accuracy Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.WCF Insurance offers an extensive compensation package. The expected salary range for this position is 58, ,200.00. Working conditions are based in an office environment with adequate temperature and lighting control.
