Job description
Silverton Partners is looking for a Venture Capital Associate to join their team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll support the investment team by sourcing and evaluating early-stage companies, conducting market research, and assisting with due diligence. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and engage with the startup ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Source and evaluate new investment opportunities.
Conduct market research and develop investment theses.
Build financial models and perform investment analysis.
Assist portfolio companies and support board members.
Prepare internal investment memos and reports.
Network with peers and attend industry events.
What You Need
2-4 years of experience in investment or M&A, or significant startup experience.
Ability to quickly understand new markets.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical or engineering background preferred.
