Carter County Animal Hospital is a full‐service, compassionate veterinary hospital serving Ardmore and the surrounding region. Founded in 2007 by Dr. Cade & Mary Kate Wilson, we offer diagnostics, surgery (including laser surgery), in‑house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, ortho/rehab, and more—all in a friendly, down‑to‑earth atmosphere.

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. You will work collaboratively with our experienced doctors and support staff to provide high quality medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals. You’ll have access to modern equipment and a full suite of services, with opportunities to develop your interests, whether in general practice, surgery, dentistry, or rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform physical exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, surgery, and dental procedures

Mentor and work with support staff and newer team members

Provide compassionate client education and communication

Collaborate on hospital initiatives for growth, quality of care, and client satisfaction

Qualifications

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Oklahoma

Comfortable performing surgery and dentistry (or desire to build those skills)

Interest in mentoring/supporting a team and helping drive practice growth

Empathetic, team‑oriented attitude and desire to live in a community-focused practice
