The Opportunity
This established small-animal practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to dogs and cats and is looking for a DVM who wants to become part of a dedicated veterinary team.
The practice offers an environment where veterinarians can practice medicine while having the support of experienced veterinary professionals around them.
The ideal candidate may be an experienced veterinarian or a newer graduate looking for a practice where they can continue developing their clinical skills.
What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats
Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions
Communicate clearly with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment options
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
Participate in preventative medicine and wellness care
Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
What We're Looking For
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
Active Virginia veterinary license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate approach to patient and client care
Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary team
