Associate Veterinarian – General Practice
Columbia Metro, South Carolina
$110,000–$180,000 | Full-Time
Looking for a general practice where you can practice quality medicine, build long-term client relationships, and continue developing your skills with a supportive team around you?
DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Columbia metro area. This opportunity offers a broad companion animal caseload, flexible scheduling, mentorship, and an experienced team committed to collaborative patient care.
New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to explore the opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Your caseload may include:
Wellness and preventive medicine
General medical care
Diagnostic workups and treatment planning
Routine soft-tissue surgery
Dentistry
Same-day sick visits
Client education and communication
Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff
You’ll have room to continue strengthening your medical and surgical skills while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
What They’re Looking For
DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
Active South Carolina veterinary license or ability to obtain one
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
Interest in continued learning and professional development
New graduates are welcome, and mentorship is available.
Compensation & Benefits
Market-based compensation range: $110,000–$180,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, clinical skill set, and compensation structure.
