The Role
Provide comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
Perform general surgery and dentistry with support from on-site diagnostics and nursing teams
Utilize digital radiography, in-house lab, and on-site pharmacy to guide timely treatment plans
Manage and monitor hospitalized cases; participate in daily rounds when appropriate
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to controlled-substance protocols
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to ensure understanding and follow-through
Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership to optimize workflows and protocols
Schedule highlights: 4-day work week, no on-call or after-hours, clinic closed on Sundays
Clinical autonomy with mentorship available for continued growth
Requirements
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
License to practice veterinary medicine in Missouri (or ability to obtain)
Eligibility to work in the United States
DEA registration (or ability to obtain and maintain)
1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
